For more than a thousand years, the mountains and valleys of Lebanon have sheltered minorities — Christians, Druze and Shi’ite Muslims alike. Pontifical Mission works with Christian, Druze and Muslim leaders to determine and prioritize community needs; builds homes, clinics and classrooms; restores village agricultural infrastructure; secures low interest loans for small business; provides care to impoverished children; and supports the education and formation of priests, sisters and lay leaders.
